This feature enables users to conduct searches from any point on their phone through intuitive gestures such as circling, highlighting, scribbling, or tapping. Google’s aim with this addition is to make it feel more natural for users to access Google Search whenever they have a question, whether they’re watching a video, browsing photos within a social app, or chatting with a friend via messaging.

In such a scenario, you can activate Circle to Search on your Android phone by simply long-pressing the home button or navigation bar. This feature allows you to select any item you see, like circling their sunglasses, and quickly discover similar and shoppable options from various online retailers. You can also scribble on the bag and tap on the boots to search for them without leaving your current location. Once you’re done, swipe away, and you’ll be right back where you started.
