House music typically has a faster tempo, ranging from 120–130 beats per minute (BPM), while deep house music has a slower tempo, ranging from 110–120 BPM. This slower tempo in deep house music allows for more emphasis on groove and atmosphere, rather than a high-energy dance beat.
